E.M.S for PAIPs: The Importance of Emotional, Mental, and Spiritual Support (E.M.S)
Many organizations have a Post Accident Incident Plan (PAIP) that establishes procedures and prompts actions in the event of an accident or incident. While many PAIPs are well developed for search and rescue efforts, few PAIPs have established procedures and prompts that address the individuals' and organization's emotional, mental, and spiritual (E.M.S) needs during and after a PAIP activation. The course will help participants critically think about and plan for basic implementation of E.M.S. resources and strategies in their PAIP.
